Globes GCM series was designed with your lab in mind, offering reliable performance for spinning down microcentrifuge tubes, PCR tubes, or PCR strips. The GCM can accelerate to 7,000 RPM (2680 x g) with the lid closed and decelerate quickly when the lid is opened. The kit includes an eight (8) position microcentrifuge tube rotor suitable for 1.5 / 2.0 mL tubes, a PCR tube rotor that accommodates 0.2 mL tubes and strips, and eight (8) adapters for 0.2 mL tubes along with eight (8) adapters for 0.5 mL tubes. The rotors can be easily changed without tools by simply pulling up to remove and pressing down to replace. Additional features include EZ-swap rotor attachments, fast acceleration and braking, portability, and quiet operation, with the option of three lid colors: red, blue, or green.
