The GCH-24 Hematocrit Centrifuge is designed for laboratories to analyze erythrocyte fractions in blood and perform micro solution separations using the included twenty-four (24) place capillary rotor. The centrifuge features enhanced user safety with easy-to-remove rotor lids and a user-friendly backlit LCD display, intuitive control buttons, and a parameter adjustment knob for straightforward programming. The timer is designed to start counting only when the programmed speed is achieved, ensuring the accuracy of results. It offers a speed range of 200-14,000 RPM with a maximum RCF of 18,620 x G, and allows for independent control of speed and time, all powered by a maintenance-free brushless DC motor. Additional features include pulse operation for quick spins, an included hematocrit rotor with a 24 capillary capacity and a maximum speed of 12,000 RPM, and an optional tube rotor with a 24 place capacity for 1.5/2 mL tubes at a maximum speed of 14,000 RPM. Advanced capabilities consist of a speed/RCF switch, a short-time run function, an audible alert function, various safety features such as door interlock, overspeed and over-temperature detectors, automatic internal diagnosis, and automatic rotor identification.
