The GCH-24 hematocrit centrifuge is designed for laboratories to determine erythrocyte fractions in blood and micro solution separations using the included twenty-four (24) place capillary rotor, which has a maximum speed of 12,000 RPM. It features a speed range of 200-14,000 RPM, with a maximum relative centrifugal force (RCF) of 18,620 x g. The centrifuge allows independent control of speed and time, and its operation is facilitated by an intuitive menu, easy-to-read backlit LCD display, and a parameter adjustment knob. The maintenance-free brushless DC motor supports pulse operation for quick spins. Safety is enhanced with features such as a door interlock, overspeed detector, over-temperature detector, and automatic internal diagnosis. Additionally, the GCH-24 supports automatic rotor identification and includes an audible alert function. Optional accessories include a tube rotor with a 24 place capacity for 1.5/2 mL tubes, which can reach a maximum speed of 14,000 RPM.
