The GCC-S clinical centrifuge is designed for various clinical and research applications, featuring a twelve (12) position rotor that accommodates 5ml, 7ml, or 10ml culture or blood collection tubes, as well as up to eight (8) 15ml tubes, with all necessary adapters included. It boasts fast acceleration and deceleration capabilities and operates within a speed range of 300-4500 RPM, allowing for independent control of speed and time. The easy-to-read LED display provides straightforward programming for both time and speed, with a timer that only counts down once the set speed is achieved, ensuring reliable experimental results. Safety features include a manual door release positioned on the side of the unit, a door interlock system, excessive speed detection, and an audible alert function. The GCC-S is particularly suitable for use with 15ml centrifuge tubes and most Globe Scientific collection tubes, and comes complete with a fixed angle rotor that holds up to twelve (12) 5ml/7ml/10ml tubes or eight (8) 15ml tubes.
