Benchmark Scientific hotplates, stirrers, and hotplate stirrers are designed for reliable performance and safe operation in everyday laboratory use. The series includes space-efficient models with dimensions of 7x7 inches and 10x10 inches, featuring a durable, chemical-resistant white ceramic top plate and advanced microprocessor controls. The constant monitoring system allows for precise control of temperature (ambient +5° to 400°C) and mixing speed (150 to 1500 RPM), which can be viewed on a large digital display. A safety LED indicates when the top plate temperature exceeds 50°C. For applications that necessitate precise temperature control, an external temperature probe can be utilized; it offers direct feedback to the microprocessor, ensuring constant monitoring and adjustments to maintain the selected sample temperature within +/- 1°C. All models are compatible with borosilicate glass beakers and other vessels with a maximum stirring volume of 5 L for the 7-inch stirrers and 15 L for the 10-inch stirrers. Additionally, an optional clamp assembly is available for mounting thermometers, temperature probes, and other devices.
