The Protector Series Shield for lathe crosslide is designed without an offset and is constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, ensuring a robust and durable safety shield that effectively protects operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. The kit includes various mounting options and is modular in design, allowing customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring to tackle challenging machine guarding requirements. The shield is vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights, and it can be reversed to facilitate opposite-hand mounting when needed. All components carry CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. Additionally, a full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain optimum performance.
