The Protector Series shield for lathe crosslide features a no offset design and is constructed of 14-gauge powder-coated steel combined with 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, resulting in a highly durable safety shield that protects operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. This product includes certification from CE, UL, and CSA, and it comes with a limited one-year warranty. A full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to ensure optimal performance. The modular design of the Protector Series shields allows for customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, making it adaptable to address various machine guarding challenges. Additionally, the shields are offered with multiple mounting options, allowing for reversal in opposite-hand mounting scenarios when needed, and they are designed to be vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
