The Protector Series chip shield for milling or drilling machines is designed for left side mounting with a 16" offset. It is constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and features a 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, ensuring a robust and durable safety shield that protects operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components of this shield are CE, UL, and CSA certified and come with a limited one-year warranty. Additionally, there is a full line of replacement polycarbonate shields available to maintain peak efficiency. The modular design of the Protector Series shields allows for customization of shield shape, size, mounting options, arm length, offset, lighting, interlocking features, and safety monitoring, providing optimal solutions for challenging machine guarding requirements.
