The Protector Series chip shield is designed for milling or drilling machines and features an octagonal shape measuring 24" x 10". It includes LED lighting, a left mount, an articulating structure with a single base pivot, three arms, and a 36" reach with interlock and a 16" offset, ensuring a lighted and interlocked enclosure. The shields are constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, providing an extremely tough, rigid, and durable safety solution that protects operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components are certified CE, UL, and CSA, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. A full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain optimal performance. The modular design allows for customizable configurations of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, making it suitable for various machine guarding challenges. Additionally, the shields offer multiple mounting options to facilitate reversal for opposite-hand mounting, and they are vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate differing work setups and table heights.
