The Protector Series Chip Shield is designed for milling or drilling machines, featuring an octagonal shape with dimensions of 24" x 10". It has a left mount, articulating design with double pivot and three arms, providing a 36" reach without interlock and a 16" offset, though it does not include an enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof, oil-resistant polycarbonate, this shield offers exceptional toughness, rigidity, and durability to protect operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components are certified by CE, UL, and CSA, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. A full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain peak efficiency. The modular design of the Protector Series allows for customized configurations, including variations in shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, ensuring an effective solution for challenging machine guarding needs. Additionally, multiple mounting options allow reversal for opposite-hand setups, and all shields are vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work environments and table heights.
