The Protector Series chip shield is designed for milling or drilling machines, featuring an octagonal shape with dimensions of 28" x 10". It is a left mount, articulating shield with a single base pivot and three arms, offering a 36" reach without interlock and a 16" offset. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield provides robust protection against flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. The kit includes installation hardware and a user manual, and all components carry CE, UL, and CSA certifications. The shields come with a limited one-year warranty, and a full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to ensure peak efficiency. The modular design allows for customization in shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, making it suitable for challenging machine guarding scenarios. Additionally, various mounting options are available, allowing for reversal to accommodate opposite-hand mounting when required.
