The Protector Series shield for lathe chuck is an octagonal model measuring 24" x 10", featuring a right mount and direct mount with interlock, along with a 12" offset and no enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof, oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield is designed to be exceptionally tough, rigid, and durable, protecting operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components are certified with CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. The modular design allows for configuration options including shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, making it adaptable for various machine guarding challenges. The shields provide versatility with multiple mounting options and can be reversed for opposite-hand mounting scenarios as needed. Additionally, they are vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
