The Protector Series shield for lathe chuck features an octagonal design with dimensions of 16" x 8", equipped with LED lighting, a right mount, and a direct mount with interlock, along with a 12" offset and a lighted interlocked enclosure. The shields are constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, ensuring extreme toughness, rigidity, and durability to protect operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components carry CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. A comprehensive line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available for maintaining peak efficiency. The modular design of the Protector Series allows customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring to address various machine guarding challenges. These high-quality shields offer multiple mounting options and can be reversed for opposite-hand mounting scenarios if required, while also being vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
