The Protector Series shield for lathe chuck is an octagonal safety shield measuring 9" x 8", equipped with an LED for enhanced visibility. It features a right mount and direct mount with interlock, providing a 12" offset lighted interlocked enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof, oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield offers exceptional durability and rigidity to protect operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components are certified by CE, UL, and CSA, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. A comprehensive range of replacement polycarbonate shields is available for optimal performance. The modular design of the Protector Series allows customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, ensuring the best solution for challenging machine guarding requirements.
