The Protector Series Chip Shield for drill presses is a left side mount, octagonal safety shield measuring 12" x 8", designed for direct mounting without interlock and featuring a 24" offset with no enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this shield provides robust protection for operators against flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components carry CE, UL, and CSA certification, and the shields include a limited one-year warranty. A comprehensive selection of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain optimal performance. The modular design of the Protector Series allows for customization in shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring to effectively address various machine guarding challenges. The shields come with different mounting options and can be reversed for opposite-hand mounting scenarios, while also being vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate various work setups and table heights.
