The Protector Series shield for lathe chuck is octagonal in shape, measuring 24" x 10", designed for right mount and direct mount without interlock, featuring a 12" offset and no enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this shield provides robust protection against flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components are certified with CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. A complete range of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to ensure optimal performance. The modular design allows for customization in shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, making it adaptable for various machine guarding needs. The shields also offer multiple mounting options and can be reversed for opposite-hand mounting situations, while remaining vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
