The Protector Series chip shield for drill presses is a left side mount option designed for durability and safety. It features an octagonal shape measuring 6" x 8" and is a direct mount without interlock, with a 14" offset and no enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield effectively protects operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components meet CE, UL, and CSA certification standards, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. A full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to ensure optimal performance. The modular design of the Protector Series allows for customization in shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring to tackle the most challenging machine guarding scenarios. Additionally, various mounting options are available, and the shields are designed for reversal to accommodate opposite-hand mounting when needed. They are also vertically and horizontally adjustable to adapt to different work setups and table heights.
