The Protector Series chip shield for drill presses is designed for left side mounting and features an octagonal shape measuring 9" x 8". It includes direct mounting without an interlock and has an 18" offset, with no enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this robust safety shield protects operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components are certified by CE, UL, and CSA, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. Additionally, a comprehensive range of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to ensure optimal performance. The modular design of the Protector Series allows for customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring to address various machine guarding challenges. Various mounting options enable the shield to be reversed for opposite-hand mounting situations, and all shields are adjustable both vertically and horizontally to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
