The Protector Series shield for lathe chuck is an octagonal design measuring 28" x 10" with a right mount, direct mount without interlock, and a 12" offset, featuring no enclosure. These shields are constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, ensuring a robust, rigid, and durable safety barrier that protects operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components carry CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and the shields are backed by a limited one-year warranty. A full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to ensure optimal performance. The modular design allows for customization of shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, making it suitable for challenging machine guarding requirements. The flexible mounting options enable reversal for opposite-hand configurations as needed, and all shields are designed to be vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate varying work setups and table heights.
