The Protector Series chip shield for milling or drilling machines is designed for left side mounting with a 16" offset. It is constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof, oil-resistant polycarbonate, ensuring a robust and durable safety shield that protects operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. The product includes CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and comes with a limited one-year warranty. A full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain optimal performance. The modular design of the Protector Series allows for tailoring shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring to address various machine guarding challenges. Additionally, it offers various mounting options and features that allow for reversal to accommodate opposite-hand mounting scenarios. All shields are adjustable both vertically and horizontally, enabling compatibility with different work setups and table heights.
