The Protector Series chip shield for milling or drilling machines features a left side mount, comprised of 3 arms with a 16" offset. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, this safety shield is designed to effectively protect operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. It is certified by CE, UL, and CSA, and comes with a limited one-year warranty. The modular design of the Protector Series shields allows for customization in shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, providing optimal solutions for challenging machine guarding applications. Various mounting options are available, and the shields can be reversed for opposite-hand mounting scenarios, while also being vertically and horizontally adjustable to accommodate different work setups and table heights. A full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is offered to ensure continued operation at peak efficiency.
