The Protector Series shield for lathe chuck is designed with a curved shape, measuring 28" x 10", featuring a right mount and direct mount with interlock and a 12" offset, without an enclosure. These shields are constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, ensuring a tough, rigid, and durable safety shield that protects operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. All components are CE, UL, and CSA certified, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. A comprehensive range of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain optimal performance. The modular design allows for customizable configurations regarding shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, addressing various machine guarding challenges. Multiple mounting options are provided, and the high-quality shields offer reversal capabilities for opposite-hand mounting scenarios, as well as vertical and horizontal adjustability to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
