The Protector Series shield for lathe chuck is a curved safety shield measuring 24" x 10", featuring an LED light, right mount, and direct mount with an interlock and a 12" offset, packaged within a lighted interlocked enclosure. Constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel and 3/16" shock-proof, oil-resistant polycarbonate, this shield offers extreme toughness and durability, effectively protecting operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. Each shield and its components are CE, UL, and CSA certified, accompanied by a limited one-year warranty. The kit includes a full line of replacement polycarbonate shields to maintain optimal performance. The modular design allows customization in shield shape, size, mount, arm, offset, lighting, interlocking, and safety monitoring, ensuring the best solution for various machine guarding challenges. Additionally, it provides different mounting options, allowing for reversibility for opposite-hand mounting scenarios when required, and all shields are adjustable both vertically and horizontally to accommodate different work setups and table heights.
