The Protector Series shield for lathe crosslide features a no offset design and is constructed from 14-gauge powder-coated steel paired with 3/16" shock-proof and oil-resistant polycarbonate, ensuring a durable safety shield that effectively protects operators from flying debris, lubricants, coolants, and swarf. This kit includes a modular shield that can be configured for shape, size, mounting options, and additional features such as interlocking and safety monitoring, making it adaptable to meet various machine guarding challenges. All components carry CE, UL, and CSA certifications, and the shields come with a limited one-year warranty. The design allows for reversal to accommodate opposite-hand mounting scenarios when needed, and each shield can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally to accommodate different work setups and table heights. Additionally, a full line of replacement polycarbonate shields is available to maintain optimal performance.
