The model KPO25-43 (25-ton or 270,000 BTU) is designed for versatility in size and capabilities compared to other portable units with similar capacity. With dimensions of 66" wide, 66" long, and 60" tall, it features a compact footprint suitable for challenging applications with limited space for outside equipment. The heavy-duty 12 gauge steel base provides fork lift skid access for easy movement, setup, and transport. The unit is intended for outdoor placement, utilizing high static blowers to deliver airflow into a building space through ducts, effectively reaching isolated heat loads like sealed interior rooms. It offers advanced airflow capabilities, accommodating up to 75 feet of 20" cold air supply and return ducts, negating the need for a booster blower. The KPO25-43 operates on a 460-volt/80-amp 3-phase circuit with built-in cam lock connections for simple electrical hook up. To safeguard the electrical components, it includes a phase monitor that automatically shuts down the unit if voltage or phases are incorrect. Additionally, the condenser operates efficiently in low ambient temperatures, thanks to a variable frequency drive that allows functioning at sub-freezing temperatures, and it is equipped with an internal high lift condensate pump for effective condensation removal.
