Benchmark's MC-24™ Touch is the first microcentrifuge in its class to feature touch screen control. This centrifuge provides high-speed capabilities, reaching up to 13,500 RPM/16,800 xg, and is equipped with a unique Combi-Rotor™ that includes a lid, allowing it to accept both standard microtubes (1.5/2.0ml) and PCR tubes/strips (0.2ml). The large, color touch screen displays actual speed (in RPM or RCF), as well as set and remaining time, with the ability to store up to 9 speed/time profiles in memory. The home screen features a "MySpin" icon for quick access to a designated favorite profile. Supplied with Benchmark's Combi-Rotor™, the MC-24™ Touch can accommodate 241.5/2.0ml tubes, 2 strips of 0.2ml tubes (160.2ml), and up to 12x spin column kits without requiring any separate adapters. An optional 8-place rotor is available for 5ml and cryo tubes. The proprietary air flow system ensures that samples remain cool, even during extended runs at maximum speed, while the compact design measures 9 x 12 x 7.75 in. The MC-24™ Touch is cold room safe and is backed by a 2-year warranty.
