Benchmark's MC-24™ Touch is the first microcentrifuge in its class to feature touch screen control, offering advanced functionality for molecular biology laboratories. It boasts high speed capabilities of up to 13,500 RPM (16,800 xg) and comes equipped with a unique Combi-Rotor™ that accepts both standard microtubes (1.5/2.0ml) and PCR tubes/strips (0.2ml), eliminating the need for separate adapters. The large color touch screen displays actual speed in RPM or RCF, along with set and remaining time, and allows for the storage of up to 9 speed/time profiles in memory, featuring a "MySpin" icon for quick recalls of favorite profiles. The MC-24™ Touch also features a proprietary air flow system that keeps samples cool, even during extended runs at maximum speed, and has dimensions of 9 x 12 x 7.75 inches. Additionally, there is an optional 8-place rotor for 5ml and cryo tubes. This centrifuge is cold room safe and carries a 2-year warranty.
