Detecto® in-bed scales are designed with flame-retardant, antibacterial 6 ft. (1.8 m) long stretchers that are placed underneath the patient and hydraulically lifted inches from the bed for weighing. They incorporate features such as locking casters, an adjustable weighing arm, and robust steel construction. The zero key functionality enables staff to easily subtract the weight of bedding for precise patient measurement. The scales can be powered by six AA alkaline batteries (not included) or an optional AC adapter. These scales are not intended for transport and are EMR/EHR ready, with a capacity of 500 lb. x 0.1 lb. / 225 kg x 0.1 kg. Key features include a .75-in-high LCD display, EMR/EHR readiness, the ability to fit through 36 in. (91 cm) doorways, and a hydraulic lift mechanism, ensuring sturdy and reliable performance.
