The Detecto® BRW1000 is a bariatric wheelchair scale designed to support extra-wide wheelchairs, featuring a large platform measuring 32 in x 40 in x 2.2 in (81 cm x 101 cm x 5.6 cm) with a capacity of 1,000 lb (450 kg). This portable scale includes two-way easy-access ramps, a flexible cable remote display that can be positioned up to 14 ft (4.2 m) away for optimal visibility, and a low-profile design with a height of just 2.2 in (5.6 cm) for easy accessibility. It delivers clinical accuracy within 0.2 lb (0.1 kg) and incorporates a black rubber mat for improved traction. The MedVue multifunctional indicator features an alphanumeric keypad along with RS232 and USB ports, and models are available with Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and Welch Allyn connectivity options. The BRW1000 is EMR/EHR ready, capable of displaying height, weight, and body mass index (BMI) simultaneously, and includes integral wheels for ease of transport, as well as a versatile indicator bracket suitable for tabletop or wall-mount usage. Additionally, the ramps rest on the floor to facilitate easier patient access, and an OIML EC Class III model is also available. The scale operates using 6 C batteries (not included) and supports vertical mode for streamlined transport and storage.
