Its platform measures 32 in x 36 in / 81 cm x 91 cm and has a low-profile height of 2.2 in/5.6 cm to enhance accessibility. The scale is designed for clinical accuracy with a precision of 0.2 lb/0.1 kg and features a black rubber mat for improved traction. The scale is equipped with a flexible coiled cable remote display that extends up to 14 ft/4.2 m, allowing for optimal positioning for healthcare professionals to read results easily. The 6500 model includes the MedVue multifunctional indicator with an alphanumeric keypad, supporting RS232 and USB ports, and offers optional Wi-Fi and Welch Allyn connectivity. It displays height, weight, and body mass index simultaneously on-screen and is EMR/EHR ready. The scale is designed for easy transport with integral wheels and can be used in vertical mode for storage.
