The 40 x 48 P3 pallet is a lightweight, stackable, hygienic, and durable solution that integrates seamlessly with both manual and automatic material handling equipment. Tested at the Virginia Tech Center for Packaging and Unit Load Design, it has completed over 280 cycles without fail, outperforming wood pallets in idle pallet storage, palletization, shipment, transportation, and receipt. Manufactured with recycled plastic, the P3 serves as a sustainable alternative to wood pallets and is compliant with the Recycle with ORBIS® program. Key features include a flow-through design that reduces contaminant spaces for easy cleaning and drying, molded-in deck pads that support multiple box layout configurations to protect box corners, and an optimized low profile height of 5.1 inches for double stacking in racks and truckloads. The pallet also offers optional steel reinforcements in the 40" direction, making it edge rackable up to 1,200 lbs, four-way fork truck entry, comfortable handholds for easy manual handling, and eight optional grommets that interlock with stringer pockets when pallets are stacked. The dimensions and specifications reflect its design for efficient use in the manufacturing and transportation of various goods, including food and beverage, CPG, and primary packaging.
