Orbis® has introduced the 40 x 48 Odyssey® low profile (LP) pallet, which enhances its range of reusable plastic pallet offerings. This pallet features a dimensionally consistent design that ensures repeatable performance with automated equipment and boasts a low-profile height of 5.6 inches, facilitating seamless integration with alternate pallets in existing pallet pools. With steel reinforcements and molded-in frictional elements, the Odyssey® LP pallet enhances load stability while minimizing load shifting, product damage, and slippage from fork equipment. It is capable of carrying edge racked loads exceeding 2,800 pounds and includes comfortable handholds for easier manual handling. Constructed with sustainability at its core, the Odyssey® LP pallet is designed to replace wood pallets in the supply chain, thereby reducing environmental waste while providing a durable solution for product transportation and storage. Its smooth plastic surfaces are free of nails and splinters, protecting product loads and reducing downtime caused by warehouse debris. The pallet's flow-through hygienic design allows for easy cleaning, making it suitable for various applications including general food processing, dry goods, agriculture, raw materials, and finished goods. Additionally, the 4048 Odyssey® LP pallet can be fully recycled through the recycle with Orbis® program, which provides credit on recycled products for future packaging purchases.
