The vaccine storage unit is certified to NSF/ANSI 456 standards and features a purpose-built design that is ADA compliant, measuring just under 32" tall to fit under compliant counters. It offers versatile usage options, allowing for recessed installation or freestanding use. The unit maintains a temperature variation of +/-1°C, as determined by tests conducted with an NTC sensor in a 1 oz. vial. Included with the unit is a 2-year calibration certificate for record-keeping. It incorporates an antimicrobial silver ion-coated handle and allows adjustable interior temperature settings between +2 to +8°C. The device features several alarms, including a temperature alarm, open door alarm that activates if the door is ajar for over 4 minutes (adjustable), an audible power failure alarm, and a sensor failure alarm with both audible and visual alerts. Security is enhanced by a factory-installed keyed lock located on the door, with two keys provided, and password protection ensures control panel settings cannot be adjusted without authorization.
