The Controlled Room Temperature Cabinet is purpose-built to support manufacturer recommendations for the storage of pharmacy, medication, and vaccines within a range of 20° - 25°C (68° - 77°F) as defined by USP. It features a temperature variation of +/-1.5°C, derived from testing with an NTC sensor in a 1 oz. vial during a 24-hour period. Designed for stable operation, this cabinet maintains set temperatures even when ambient room temperatures fluctuate between 68°F and 86°F. Key features include an antimicrobial silver ion-coated handle, adjustable temperature controls allowing settings from +2 to +8°C, a temperature alarm, remote alarm contacts, and an automatic defrost function with adjustable cycles. An access port is provided with a pre-installed 1/2" probe hole in the right interior wall for easy connection to monitoring equipment. Safety features include an open door alarm that activates after 4 minutes, audible power failure and sensor failure alarms, and password protection to restrict access to temperature parameters. The microprocessor control panel provides digital controls with a large LED readout in Celsius or Fahrenheit and includes a resettable min/max display. Security is enhanced with a factory-installed keyed lock and adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves for improved air circulation, along with multiple shelf positions spaced at 1/2" to accommodate various sizes. The cabinet is equipped with a hospital-grade cord featuring a 'green dot' plug for added safety, and the durable interior walls are designed for longevity.
