These valves blend hot and cold supply water to deliver tepid water (85°F / 29°C) to emergency equipment, featuring a flow range of 2 to 70-3/16 GPM at 30 PSI (7-5/8 to 265-11/16 LPM at 2 bar g), making it suitable for multiple emergency showers and eyewash stations installed in the same supply line. Designed for installation into existing emergency shower applications, the valve controls the temperature of both recirculating and non-recirculating supply systems. It complies with ANSI Z358.1-2014 and ASSE 1071 standards, ensuring accurate outlet temperature control. Key features include a positive hot water shut-off that eliminates the risk of scalding if the cold-water supply fails, an integral cold-water bypass for reliable cold-water delivery if the hot-water supply is interrupted, and a factory setting of 85°F (29-3/8°C) that can be adjusted safely up to 95°F (35°C) for optimal effectiveness with body washes. Additionally, integral cartridge-style checks with screens prevent backflow and filter debris from entering the valve.
