The 30 gallon, portable Hughes® self-contained safety shower with eye/face wash is designed for mobility and freeze protection, suitable for cold climates with a minimum ambient operating temperature of -4°F (-20°C) or above. This highly mobile unit holds 30 gallons (114 liters) of water, enabling rapid response to potential accidents in various locations. It features a corrosion-resistant, polypropylene-lined pressurized cylinder and requires only a hose connection from a water main for filling. The soft polyester-coated PVC jacket with a silicone glass cloth inner lining and a heated insulated mat ensures reliable operation in frigid conditions. The shower is easy to maneuver by one person, incorporating a stainless-steel frame and large diameter pneumatic tires, while adjustable wheel spacing allows access through standard door openings. The eye/face wash provides a continuous flow of water for 1-1/2 minutes and utilizes high-performance quarter-turn ball valves made of 316L stainless steel designed to withstand harsh environments. The covered, durable acrylic-capped ABS eye/face wash bowl protects against dust and debris, while twin diffusers deliver a gentle flow of aerated water to minimize further injury to the eyes. This safety shower and eye/face wash unit is suitable for Class 1 Division 2 hazardous areas as well as non-hazardous environments.
