The pedestal-mounted, open ABS plastic bowl eye/face wash unit is designed at ANSI-compliant height and is generally located in open areas away from walls. It is suitable for use in all applications not subject to the possibility of freezing or overheating. The system features a specially designed valve with an integral, heavy-duty stainless steel stop-plate for handling rough operation without failure, while low operating torque ensures reliable, easy on/off operation. Constructed with galvanized mild steel pipework, the unit includes a highly visible red push plate for activation and a universal hand and eye wash sign, as well as an inspection record tag for service and test history. Optional foot treadle activation is available, and some assembly may be required. Key features include twin spray nozzles protected by dust covers that pop off when the eye wash is activated, diffusers that provide a gentle flow of aerated water to prevent further eye injury, and high-performance 316L stainless steel quarter-turn ball valves designed to endure harsh environments and site conditions. The unit includes a separate universal eyewash sign for enhanced visibility and meets ANSI and EN 15154 standards while supporting OSHA requirements. The eye/face wash bowl is made of yellow ABS plastic, with the eye/face wash diffusers constructed from chrome plated brass with stainless steel mesh.
