The 120V heated jacket is designed to maintain a tepid temperature within the OPTIWASH® eye wash station, functioning effectively in both cold and warm climates. It fits over the HUGHES® model 10GFEW OPTIWASH® 10-gallon eye wash station and features a trace tape heated design with a 120V, 60/50Hz electrical requirement, including a 10 ft. power cord equipped with a UL listed, CSA certified GFCI plug. The insulation ensures compliance with ANSI regulations and protects against freezing temperatures down to -30°F (-34°C), while maintaining a temperature range of 68°F to 77°F (20°C to 25°C). Installation is straightforward, utilizing hook and loop fasteners and drawstrings for a secure fit. The jacket is made of PVC coated polyester and includes a UL approved thermostat that controls the temperature and provides overheat protection. The eyewash can be activated easily by pulling down the orange activation arm to the open position. Eyewash is sold separately.
