The pedestal-mounted, open ABS plastic bowl eye/face wash unit is designed at ANSI-compliant height and is suitable for use in all applications not subject to the possibility of freezing or overheating. The system features a specially designed valve that includes an integral, heavy-duty stainless steel stop-plate to handle rough operation without failure, alongside low operating torque for reliable, easy on/off functionality. Constructed with stainless steel pipework for improved corrosion resistance, the unit includes a highly visible red push plate with a universal hand and eye wash sign, as well as an inspection record tag for recording service and test history. It also features twin spray nozzles protected by dust covers that pop off upon activation, and diffusers that provide a gentle flow of aerated water to prevent further injury to the eyes. High-performance 316L stainless steel quarter-turn ball valves are utilized to endure harsh environments and site conditions. The eye/face wash bowl is made from yellow ABS plastic, with the eye/face wash diffusers crafted from chrome plated brass with stainless steel mesh. This unit meets ANSI and EN 15154 standards and supports OSHA requirements. An optional foot treadle is available for a secondary means of activation, with some assembly required.
