The pedestal-mounted, open stainless steel bowl eye/face wash unit is designed at ANSI-compliant height and is intended for use in open areas away from walls, making it suitable for applications not subject to freezing or overheating. This system includes a specially designed valve featuring an integral, heavy-duty stainless steel stop plate to withstand rough operation without failure, while its low operating torque ensures reliable and easy on/off operation. The unit is constructed using galvanized mild steel pipework and features an easy activation method with a highly visible red push plate accompanied by a universal hand and eye wash sign. It also includes an inspection record tag for documenting service and test history. The unit is equipped with twin spray nozzles protected by dust covers that pop off upon activation, and diffusers provide a gentle flow of aerated water to prevent further injury to the eyes. High-performance 316L stainless steel quarter-turn ball valves are utilized for durability in harsh environments. Additionally, the kit includes a separate universal eyewash sign for better visibility and meets ANSI and EN 15154 standards, as well as supporting OSHA requirements. The material specifications for the eye/face wash diffusers consist of chrome-plated brass with stainless steel mesh. Some assembly may be required, and an optional foot treadle is available for secondary activation.
