The kit includes a universal safety shower sign for enhanced visibility and an inspection record tag for documenting service and test history. This drench shower meets ANSI Z358.1 2014 and EN 15154 standards and supports OSHA requirements, making it ideal for environments where water could freeze due to extreme cold. The floor-mounted emergency drench shower includes a high-performance quarter-turn ball valve made of 316L stainless steel, designed to withstand harsh conditions. It features polyurethane foam insulation and a medium-density polyethylene impact-resistant outer casing, with a nylon 6 nozzle. The low operating torque allows for reliable, easy on/off operation during emergencies. The valve is equipped with a heavy-duty stainless steel stop plate, ensuring durability during rough use. The coated stainless steel shower pull handle, with a nylon valve connection, is designed for easy gripping and activation for immediate water drenching. Additionally, the shower boasts a removable, self-draining overhead nozzle that provides high flow rates, meeting or exceeding ANSI standards, and is made of durable nylon for optimal spray distribution. The unit has solid construction using galvanized mild steel pipework, and some assembly may be required.
