The Trace Tape heating system is specifically designed for cold climates with a minimum ambient operating temperature of -4°F (-20°C) or above, enhancing frost protection and strength with its polyethylene jacket and polyurethane foam insulation. It is suitable for both Class 1 Division 2 hazardous areas and non-hazardous areas. The package includes a universal safety shower sign for visibility and an inspection record tag for documenting service and testing history. This freeze-protected and insulated emergency drench shower complies with ANSI Z358.1 2014 and EN 15154 standards, in support of OSHA requirements. The floor-mounted shower features a high-performance quarter-turn ball valve made of 316L stainless steel for durability in harsh environments, and it includes polyurethane foam insulation backed by a medium density polyethylene impact-resistant outer casing and a nylon 6 nozzle. The valve operates with low torque for reliable on/off action during emergencies and contains a heavy-duty stainless steel stop-plate for robustness. The durable stainless steel shower pull handle, connected to the nylon valve, ensures easy activation for immediate water flow. The shower is designed with a removable, self-draining overhead nozzle that provides high flow rates meeting or exceeding ANSI standards; it is made of durable nylon for optimal spray distribution. The solid construction features galvanized mild steel pipework, and while some assembly may be required, the electrical supply is rated at 240V single phase, 60/50Hz. The shower head dimensions are 2" W x 2" D x 3" H.
