It features a self-draining valve that allows standing water to drain away from the standpipe, ensuring the delivery of tepid water and reducing the risk of shock and scalding caused by overheated water. The kit includes a universal safety shower sign for enhanced visibility and an inspection record tag for documenting service and test history. The system complies with ANSI Z358.1 2014 and EN 15154 standards and supports OSHA requirements. The self-draining valve is strategically located above the water inlet, combined with a bleed pipe to effectively eliminate hot water. The standpipe fills only when the shower is activated and drains immediately afterward to prevent stagnation. It features a high-performance quarter-turn ball valve made of 316L stainless steel, ensuring durability and reliability with low operating torque for emergency activation. The valve includes a heavy-duty stainless steel stop plate for resilience against rough use. A durable, coated stainless steel pull handle with a nylon valve connection provides ease of use. The shower has a removable, self-draining overhead nozzle crafted from durable nylon 6 that offers high flow rates and optimal spray distribution while minimizing insect nesting and reducing replacement costs. Overall, the solid construction includes galvanized mild steel pipework, with some assembly required. The dimensions of the shower head are 2" W x 2" D x 3" H.
