The system is suitable for use in applications that are not subject to freezing or overheating and includes a specially designed valve with an integral, heavy-duty stainless steel stop plate to withstand rough operation. It features a durable, coated stainless steel pull handle with a nylon valve connection that is easy to grip and activate for immediate water drenching. Designed for high flow rates that meet or exceed ANSI standards, the nozzle offers optimal spray distribution for user protection and reduces the potential for insect nesting, thereby eliminating high replacement costs associated with cracked or dented plastic spray heads. The eye/face wash is made of durable, corrosion-resistant acrylic capped ABS and has a high ANSI-compliant flow rate, featuring an integral lid connected to the water valve for automatic operation, activated by simply pulling down the lid. An easy-to-reach flow regulator valve positioned on the side of the bowl allows adjustments to suit the severity of the accident. The solid construction includes stainless steel pipework for added corrosion resistance, with an optional foot treadle available for a secondary means of eye wash activation. Some assembly may be required.
