It has a coated stainless steel pull handle with a nylon valve connection for easy gripping and activation, ensuring immediate water drenching. Designed for high flow rates that meet or exceed ANSI standards, the nozzle offers optimal spray distribution for user protection, while the compact design reduces the potential for insect nesting and eliminates high replacement costs associated with cracked or dented plastic spray heads. The eye/face wash is made of durable, corrosion-resistant acrylic capped ABS and operates at a high, ANSI-compliant flow rate, featuring an integral lid connected to the water valve for automatic operation; it can be activated by simply pulling down the lid. An easy-to-reach flow regulator valve is positioned on the side of the bowl to adjust the flow to suit the severity of the accident, and the unit is constructed with stainless steel pipework for added corrosion resistance. Optional foot treadle activation can be added for the eye wash, and some assembly may be required.
