The standpipe fills with water only when the shower is activated and drains upon valve closure, preventing stagnant water from overheating. Key features include high-performance quarter-turn ball valves made of 316L stainless steel, which provide low operating torque for reliable, easy on/off operation in emergencies. The integral heavy-duty stainless steel stop-plate ensures durability during rough operation, while the coated stainless steel shower pull handle with nylon valve connection offers easy grip and activation for immediate water drenching. The removable, self-draining overhead nozzle is crafted from durable nylon material, providing high flow rates that meet or exceed ANSI standards and optimal spray distribution while minimizing insect nesting issues. The open stainless steel bowl eye/face wash features a high ANSI-compliant flow rate with aerated diffusers, fine mesh strainers, and an individual flow controller for a gentle scrubbing action. It includes twin spray nozzles with dust covers that activate via a push plate and a flow regulator valve that adjusts according to the severity of incidents. The system employs solid construction using galvanized mild steel pipework, with the option to add a foot treadle for secondary eyewash activation. Some assembly may be required.
