The Air-Care™ MERV 8 permanent and washable flexible air filter includes a sturdy frame designed for easy fitting in non-standard air filter sizes, making it a versatile choice for various systems. This electrostatic air filter is ten times more efficient than standard disposable filters, effectively trapping dust and allergens while promoting cleaner indoor air. The electrostatically charged material attracts airborne particles, which are held until they are released through washing, allowing for maintenance every 1-3 months. Additionally, it contains an EPA registered anti-microbial material to inhibit mold and bacteria growth on the surface, enhancing air quality by reducing irritants such as pollen, dust, bacteria, mold spores, pet dander, and smoke, many of which are smaller than one micron. The nominal depth of the filter ranges from 1/8" to 1", ensuring compatibility with a wide array of filter needs.
