The Air-Care™ MERV 8 permanent and washable flexible air filter is designed to fit non-standard air filter sizes easily, making it a versatile choice for various systems. This electrostatic filter is ten times more efficient than standard disposable filters and is engineered to trap dust and allergens effectively. It features a sturdy frame for durability and is designed to be washed every 1-3 months, allowing for ongoing use without the need for replacements. The electrostatic charge is generated through air flow across a maze of static-prone fibers, which attracts and holds airborne particles until the filter is cleaned. Additionally, the filter incorporates an EPA registered anti-microbial material that inhibits mold and bacteria growth on its surface, enhancing indoor air quality by reducing irritants such as pollen, dust, bacteria, mold spores, pet dander, and smoke, many of which are smaller than one micron. The nominal depth of the filter ranges from 1/8" to 1".
