The Air-Care™ MERV 8 permanent and washable flexible air filter offers an efficient solution for maintaining cleaner air in your home, featuring a flexible frame that easily adapts to non-standard air filter sizes. This electrostatic air filter is designed to be 10 times more efficient than standard disposable filters, effectively trapping dust and allergens through an electrostatic charge generated by air flow through its specialized fibers. The filter utilizes an EPA registered anti-microbial material to inhibit mold and bacteria growth on its surface, enhancing indoor air quality by reducing irritants such as pollen, dust, bacteria, mold spores, pet dander, and smoke, many of which are smaller than one micron. The nominal depth of the filter ranges from 1/8" to 1", and it is recommended to wash the filter every 1-3 months for optimal performance.
