The Air-Care™ MERV 8 permanent and washable flexible air filter offers a non-standard air filter size with a flexible frame that ensures a proper fit in various systems. Designed to be 10 times more efficient than standard disposable filters, it electrostatically charges to capture dust and allergens, providing cleaner and fresher air in your home. The filter can be washed every 1-3 months for continued use, thanks to its durable construction. It utilizes static electricity generated by air passing through a network of static-prone fibers, attracting and retaining airborne particles until they are removed by washing. Additionally, the filter contains an EPA registered anti-microbial material to prevent mold and bacteria growth on its surface. This air filter effectively reduces irritants in the air, including pollen, dust, bacteria, mold spores, pet dander, and smoke, many of which are smaller than one micron. The nominal depth of the filter ranges from 1/8" to 1".
